For a long time I was lacking an ability to manufacture mechanical parts for my projects - all I had was a drill, scalpel, some bolts and nuts, aluminium flat bars and other basic tools and materials. 3D printers 'boom' created the ability to quickly make relatively strong and precise parts.
After some research I decided to buy 'Gate' printer kit from Polish company '3Novatica'. It's made from aluminium profiles and that was the key factor that affected my decision to choose this machine - I wanted a sturdy and reliable device.
I won't describe the printer in detail, but to give an overview: it uses 'UNIQUE ONE' board with A4988 drivers a slightly modified version of Repetier Host to generate G code.
